In highly sensitive Cleanroom environments, the entry and exit of people and goods can pose a risk of contamination. The Cargo Air Shower is a cargo transportation cleanliness product that ensures that items entering the Cleanroom have clean surfaces and meet strict GMP standards.
Air Shower and Airlock are both key pieces of equipment at the entrance of a Cleanroom, but with different functions:
Air Shower: Removes particulate contaminants by blowing a high velocity clean airflow (usually HEPA filtered) over the surfaces of people or goods, and is suitable for deep cleaning prior to entering the cleanroom.
Airlock: Mainly used for pressure control, to prevent different clean levels of the region directly connected to reduce air cross-contamination, but does not have the active blowing function.
The Cargo Cleanroom Air Shower combines the advantages of both to efficiently remove particles from the surface of the cargo while maintaining a positive pressure environment in the Cleanroom to ensure dust-free transportation.
Although both Person Air Shower and Cargo Air Shower are used for Cleanroom entrance decontamination, there are significant differences in design and usage:
Personnel Air Shower: Smaller in size, typically accommodating only 1-2 people, with shorter purge times (15-30 seconds) and a focus on particulate control during human movement.
Cargo Air Shower: This system features additional space to handle carts and pallets and large equipment while its purging period can range between 30-60 seconds or be adjustable for effective surface cleaning.
The Cleanroom Cargo Air Shower includes a Roll Up Door structure which enables forklifts and trolleys to enter while maintaining airtight standards to stop outside contamination.
GMP compliant: Suitable for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, electronics manufacturing and other demanding industries.
High-efficiency HEPA filtration: Removes ≥0.3μm particles, cleanliness up to ISO Class 5 (Class 100) or higher.
Intelligent control system: Adjustable blowing time and wind speed, some models support auto-sensing start.
Strong durability: Made of stainless steel or baked enameled steel plate, corrosion-resistant, easy to clean and adapt to harsh environments.
