The Amber Vertical Flow Clean Bench has a broad application in regions with relatively high environmental cleanliness demands in local manufacturing, such as laboratories and biopharmaceuticals, hospitals, microelectronics, and so on.
When selecting a Clean Bench, there are the Horizontal Flow Clean Bench, and the Vertical Flow Clean Bench two types. The Horizontal Laminar Air Flow Bench is used mostly in the small area, where the air is in the front from the back of the bench cleanliness requirements. This kind of design is applicable for low cleaning standard requirements, including electronics manufacturing or laboratory environments.
The installed traditional Clean Bench uses the Vertical Flow Clean Bench which has its airflow at the bottom with the airflow coming from the top. Air gets drawn through the HEPA filter at the top and then is drawn down into the work area in a vertical direction, I.E. contaminants are pushed down and away from the surgical area. This design ensures that particles or contaminants cannot infiltrate the operating area and as a result, the design is specifically appropriate for use in situations that have stringent cleanliness, for example, pharmaceutical, biotech and semiconductor manufacturing.
Though the Horizontal Flow Bench has better characters for some application scenarios, the Vertical Flow Bench is more used for the areas with high level of cleanness as the control of air flow and the protect from the contaminant is better than the Horizontal Flow Bench.
