A Cleanroom environment depends heavily on the Air Shower System to maintain its air quality standards. The design of Air Shower Clean Rooms functions as a vital component in all sectors including pharmaceuticals, electronics production and biological research. The longevity of efficient systems depends on routine checks along with regular maintenance.

The Basic Working Principle of an Air Shower System

An Air Shower System filters air through a high efficiency filter (HEPA or ULPA) and blows it at high velocity toward people or objects to remove dust and particles from their surfaces to ensure that the cleanliness in the clean room meets standards.

To ensure proper operation of the Air Shower System, the following are some key points for daily inspection:

1. Check the High Efficiency Filter

The HEPA filter serves as the major component in Air Shower Clean Room operations. Inspection of the filter condition needs to be performed frequently to detect clogging or damage. The replacement of filters becomes necessary when the filter pressure difference becomes excessive or when airflow weakness occurs.

2. Check the operating status of the fan

The Air Shower System receives it's power through the fan device. The regular daily inspection must verify that the fan operates in a proper manner without either strange noises or unusual vibrations. Find any abnormalities in the systems and immediately call a maintenance professional.

3. Check nozzles and airflow distribution

The Air Shower Room nozzles should remain free of blockages and the airflow needs to distribute evenly throughout the area. Significant airflow weakening in specified sections will compromise the air shower cleaning effectiveness.

4. Check door sealing

The door seal of the Air Shower Room determines the cleanliness standards of a clean room environment. The sealed door requires inspection because it determines the ability to seal the door completely and block airflow through leaks.

In addition to daily inspection, regular maintenance is also the key to ensure the long-term and efficient operation of the Air Shower Clean Room

1. Clean the inside of the Air Shower Room

Regularly clean the inside of the air shower room, especially the floor and walls, using a dust free cloth and cleaner. Avoid using caustic cleaners that may damage equipment surfaces.

2. Replace HEPA filters

According to the frequency of use and environmental conditions, change the filter regularly to ensure the cleaning effect of the Air Shower System.

3. Lubricate fan bearings

Regularly check the status of fan bearings once and add appropriate amount of lubricant to reduce friction and wear.
